Tucked into the earth beside the river, this underground stone cottage feels like a portal to another age. With thick stone walls, a sod roof, a slate floor, and a grand fireplace, Frodo’s could have easily been lifted from the Shire — all that’s missing is the round door. Inside, a double bed, a small table, and gothic stained-glass bring warmth to the intimate space.

There is no electricity or running water, only the elemental music of river and fire. Shutters open wide to reveal a breathtaking view of the cascading stream, while a portable potty offers night convenience. Stepping into Frodo’s is stepping back a thousand years, into a place where time slows and magic lingers in the stones.
